I think a lot of people today don’t really believe nutrition is all the important. They are convinced that if everyone in the world is eating refined sugar, gluten containing carbs, processed foods with no nutritional content whatsoever that they too can get by. Well this isn’t so. Most people today suffer from some sort of illness or disease. On top of that they feel anxious, nervous, tired and addicted to sugar. It’s important for people to understand that the way we live today in the modern world is vastly different than the way our grandparents were raised. They didn’t have their food supply sprayed with pesticides and herbicides, refined sugar, processed foods, hormone injected animals that live in confined areas. This way of living is so different and has a big impact on our health. For me personally I believe that our society is suffering because of our food and the way we live. If more people ate high quality foods from local sources high in vitamin content and not sprayed with chemicals this would help people feel better. It did for me! When we eat real food rich in vitamin and mineral content, we feel prone to eating junk food because our bodies are getting what it needs to survive and thrive! Eat real foods from the Earth and cut out sugar, gluten carbs, and any processed food. Shop the perimeter of the market and buy organic whenever possible!
